Snow!

We finally got alot of snow here in good old rexburg! i love it cause is soo pretty, and it reminds me of christmas haha, but then i hate it cause its soooooooo COLD!

the "M" word

i am soo sick of the "M" word....you probably know what im talking about yeah thats right the deadly word:MARRIAGE!

thats all people talk about here.

its comes up in every single class.

like today in B.O.M. class my teacher was like the only reason your here is to learn how to get married, and just went on and on about marriage.

i know its important and i want to get married...but not yet! this is my first semester of college i have plenty of time still!

and theres soo many people getting engaged...its crazy madness...i met a girl in my math class and she was probably dating this guy for a month and now shes engaged!!! craziness! and i know of like 5 people who just got recently engaged!

and i learned last week that if you even have a ring on your wedding ring finger guys assume your married...its ridiculous.

well that was my ramble about marriage for the day.

just had to get it out, but i guess thats what i get for going to BYU-I-DO! hahaha

latin dancing!

so.... i went to this latin dancing this with my friend hannah yesterday and it was a blast!
even though i don't know how to dance at all...{but that's why there are cute boys to teach you}
i met this really cute boy! who thought i was married!
this was the conversation:

Him: So whens your "big day"?

Me: Hahaha What??!

Him: Your engaged right??

Me: hahahahahahaha noooo!!!!

Him: Well than why do you have a ring on that finger

Me: I don't know i like to wear it on this finger haha {side note: and it doesn't look anything like an engagement ring haha}

Him: Oh so your one of those girls you dont want all the guys attracted to you so you wear a ring to scare them off

Me: hahah no i really just wear it cause i like it

Him: well you shouldnt wear it on that finger anymore

Me: haha okay

I couldnt belive it, me married?!! bahahahah. I guess thats why all the boys arent coming after me;) all because of my ring! hahaha well now i know not to where any ring on that finger cause people here at Byu-idaho will think your married!! craziness! hahaha.

Well besides the fact that he thought i was married he was an amazing dancer and he totally taught me how to dance:) it was great!  

then after we learned the dance it just went off to dance with whoever, so then i got to dance with even more cute boys!! so it was a good night! and they do latin dancing every friday, so of course i'm going every week now! :) next time i'll remember not to wear my ring;)

so me and my roomies made brownies tonight.
it was great.
we found out that they attract men.
we had our windows open and some boys came up asking for some.
so for now on we are going to make lots of brownies;)
all you have to do is leave your window open and let the the aroma do the talking. hahaha.

college!

well i survived my first week of college here at BYU-Idaho

im lovin' it!

my classes arent as bad as i thought they would be.

and i havent gotten lost once! yay! .....well at least not yet;)

and i love how every class we have an opening prayer. its awesome. i LOVE byu-idaho! im so glad that i made the decision to come here.

it rained all day yesterday.

so i got a little wet going to and from classes but thats okay, i love the rain.

so far im liking all my roomies, they are all way nice.

i think im really going to like it here! :) 

BYU-Idaho :)

i made it to idaho, on monday!
i'm all  moved into my dorm and did my grocery shopping, which was fun!
today i went to idaho falls to get me a winter coat! then i got all my textbooks and icard, and walked around campus for a while!
went to the talent show tonight and it was AMAZING:! :) Im soo glad i went! there are soooo many talented people! i wish i could sing or play the piano! i think i fell in love with some of the guys that sang! it was beautiful! im lovin' byu-idaho already! plus i didnt mention all the cute boys!! holy moly...there's soooo many:) i think im gonna like it here;) 2 days till classes start i cant wait! hopefully i wont get to lost!

2 months in.....16 more to go!

I really like my sister gioia's email this week from her mission and thought i share some of it:

Can you believe it is my 2 months in the mission!! 16 more to go, it honestly feels like i have always been here! this week we had some really great experiences!!! this entire time on the mision we hadnt had a single investigator come to church, it has been so hard to get them to come!! and the ward here is very weak, there are a lot of problems between the members that we are trying to fix to help strengthen them abd build the area, but me and my companion decided to fast and pray even harder to help the people have a desire to come to church, and i couldnt believe it this week!! we had 4 people show up!! me and my companion were so happy i can not even describe it! it has been the biggest battle here! that was one of the most important lessons i learned this week, to trust in the Lord and be patient, because the results will come! and they always come when we least expect it!!! i have learned to expect these miracles when we least expect them to come!! but they always come in due time, when we maintain our faith...it reminds me of a story someone told us in one of our meetings...about a worker who was put out in a field..God had set giant boulder in the middle of the field and told the man that his work was going to be to push the boulder...so day after day the man worked, with every piece of strenghth that he had, pushing pulling, sweating trying to make the boulder move, but after months and months, it still hadnt budged even an inch...so later after wanting to give up and feeling useless, he asks God, why isn´t this rock moving? i am working as hard as i can, i dont know what else to do? then God responds...¨"i didnt tell you to move the rock, i asked you only to push it.¨"
and the entire time the man had been pushing it, he had gained muscle and strenthg that he had never before know, not realizing that the change and the work that took effect wasnt in moving the rock, but strenghting him.

i know that that is how life is, sometimes we feel like we are up against a giant boulder not making a difference in the lives of anybody, but we are making a differnce! and we are growing stronger as we do it! i love this story, because it teaches us to never give up or think that the good we do is in vain...if we trust in God and do exactly what he commands us to do, we are going to be blessed and strengthened..even when we dont understand or think it will at first...we must put our faith in him, and miracles will happen, when we least expect them to!
i love you and miss you all, i wish i had more time to describe the people we are meeting here and to write more experiences we are having...the rest of this pday i am going to actually write you all more letters!! but still...please have somebody email addresses! i dont really have anybodys!!!

this summer has gone by to fast.

but its been a good summer.

i finally found out who my roommates are ones from California, ones from Washington and ones from Pennsylvania! i hope there nice..ha.  i try to find them on facebook but that was impossible...there too many people! so i'll guess i'll meet them when i get to idaho!

well im getting my wisdom teeth out on monday :/.... i hope i survive;) i've never had surgery of anything so this is like pretty big for me haha.  so we'll see how that goes... im almost tempted to change my appointment again because i dont want to do it, but i guess i should just get it done and over with it.

well i should probably get ready for work now...

oh it was such a fun trip, but im glad to be home now!

but its crazy im moving to byu-idaho in like 40 days!!

 its coming so soon! im getting scared. excited. nervous. happy. ah... i just dont know what to think.

but its soon! well i registered for classes, last week. so i guess its official. even though i didnt get all the classes i wanted since everyone and there grandma was on at one time taking all the classes, so it was impossible to find or get any good classes. so we'll see how much i like my schedule my first semester. but tomorrow i have to go back to work bleh. i dont want to go back to work. i liked being on vacation.  but its over now :/ oh well there will be more trips in the future!

i cant figure this blogging this out i want to use the new templates they have but they have no good backgrounds!!!  its driving me nuts. haha i just want a cute blog. but i've given up for tonight. i'll try again another day. but i have been a bad blogger lately. probably because all i do all week is work. work. work.
so i need to work on blogging more.

 but i cant wait for next weekend!!!! im going to lake mead and then san diego!!!! im soo excited to have a break from work and basically everything. i cant wait its going to be soooo much fun! i still cant believe its july already! i only have like a month left till i start college! woo hoo i cant wait :) well i should probably going to bed now since its 1am. haha. so i will continue blogging later. good night.

today

 i went to the college ward for the first time today.

it was quite exciting.

sacrament was was different.

it was actually really, really, really, quite.

no babies crying or anything.

i could actually hear the speakers the whole time.

it was amazing.

but almost too quite for me.

im going to have to get used to that.

but it was good.

and there were some cute boys there which was a plus,

so i could get used to going to the college ward. haha :) 

but i'll only be going to this ward for the next two months,

then i'm moving to BYU-Idaho!

which i cant not wait for! 

all in all today was a good day.

and reports to the Argentina MTC next week!!

she is such a great example to me,

{i love every single one of these. they were all so  good! im glad i got to see all of them. i thought i would get tired from seeing 3 movies in a row but i didn't surprisingly. the first movie started at 4:55pm and then the last one got out at like 11:30pm. so i was there for quite awhile. but now i can say i have seen 3 movies in a row.}

then off to the shuttle...back to st. geezy. {which wasnt as scary as i thought as it was going to be luckily. except the fact that it was really hott! but i made it home safe so thats all that matters.}

but now im back to reality.

and i start working again tomorrow. which should be fun....hopefully :)

weekend!!

this weekend was alot of fun!
i went to work.
and went to the lake.
the lake was the best part.
it was sooo much fun.
so we just went there to swim and stuff
and then we saw all these people on boats and really wanted to go boating...
so then these boys on a boat came and asked us if we wanted to go boating with them!
it was a little sketchy.
but we went.
i know crazy.
but it was alot of fun.
and they were really nice.
luckily. :) haha
so there was probably like 12 or more people on the boat.
it was crazy. but fun!
3 of my fiends got some of there numbers and one of them was my sister! haha who they thought was 18! but she just turned 16. bahahaha. its quite funny.
haha i think my sister got the cutest boys number. lucky her. ;) wait till he finds out her real age...
oh i will always remember that day :)

i am so proud of her.

i was totally going to go, but i couldn't miss school because of stupid tests.

Senior sluff {Lagoon}

what my day consisted of:

Staying up all night and day. {probably got 2-3 hours of sleep the whole day}Sleeping in the seminary lawn till our buses came.
Leaving at 3am.
Long bus rides.
Stopping like a million times, the 1st time to wait for 2 boys that missed the bus.
I couldn’t believe it. I would have just left them. But I guess it was 2:30am.
Freaking out on roller coasters. {the little ones}
Getting that feeling you get in your stomach when you go down on a roller coaster,i dont know how to explain it but i hate it.
Bad food. {arbys…yuck. Worst lunch ever. and expensive.}
Trying to look for cute boys, but there was none. {they all looked like hill billies. Seriously.}
Going on the Ferris wheel.
Being the bag lady and picture taker while friends went on the big rides I couldn’t handle. Yeah im a baby. I know.
Finally leaving at 4pm.
Stopping in provo for dinner. Which was horrible. We just had bad luck with food that day.
We went to this sandwich place and this boy took forever to make them. Seriously.
Then it didn’t even tasted that good. The bread was horrible. at least it was semi cheap.
We should have just stuck with good old subway.
then we were finally off…and that’s when the bus stench became worse. Ew….It was horrible. The worst smell ever.
then we were finally home at 10pm.
Yes.
But all and all senior sluff was sooo fun!
I know I’ll always remember it :)

all because its mothers day and they want all the moms to go to relief society.
